Short StoriesThe title is NOT included in the word count 2012 Judge: Patrick Gale 1st = £5000 (approx. 8000 US$, 5900 Euro) 2nd = £1000 (approx. 1600 US$, 1180Euro) 3rd = £500 (approx. 800 US$, 590 Euro) 10 supplementary prizes of £50 each The winning stories and shortlist will be read by leading London literary agents with a view to representing writers. The top thirteen eligible stories are submitted to the National Short Story Prize (£15,000) and The Sunday Times short story award (£30,000). Fee£8 per storyJudgingAll entries are judged anonymously.
