Attleborough Poetry Competition The Attleborough Poetry Competition is in its inaugural year and is an open contest for poetry up to 50 lines. From Page To Screen hopes to encourage the making of high-quality adaptations for the benefit of Britain’s writers and filmmakers and, of course, cinema audiences.

The Guilds of Writers The Guilds of writers are a group of online genre-specific writing communities. We are completely free to join and the each board includes specific areas where members can discuss various aspects of writing, we also have a critiquing ring, and monthly exercises as well as areas where members can chat about more general things. Retreat in Andalucia, The retreat is in Andalucia, near to Mojacar in Southern Spain. Kate Roberts can offer cheap long-term self-catering accommodation 1 -3 months, with or without weekly writers workshops. She can also offer accommodation on a weekly basis.

The retreat is based in La Casa Grande, a 160 year old Andalucian finca house. There are peaceful grounds, swimming pool, meditation room and internet facilities (wireless, own lap-top).
